From 22 June to 3 July Volha has been on a research placement at the IATA office in Geneva, where she has been doing some preliminary work with the IATA Smart Security team, researching and discussing aspects of data-driven risk-based passenger differentiation (Smart Security is currently a joint programme between IATA and ACI: ).

26-27 February we held a workshop centred on the work of Prof. Katherine Hayles (Duke University). The event brought together over 20 speakers from five countries, with Prof. Katherine Hayles, Prof. Donald Mackenzie (Edinburgh University), Dr Luciana Parisi (Goldsmith, University of London), Prof. Celia Lury (Warwick University) and Dr David Berry (Sussex University) delivering keynote addresses.
